Business Equity Coalition of the Inland Northwest

We are a voluntary coalition of grassroots business-serving organizations with a shared commitment to building an equitable small business ecosystem based on our values of racial equity, collaboration, and leadership.

We see supporting and organizing our local business communities as an essential strategy for achieving community autonomy and the elimination of structural racism because of the long history of unjust racialized capitalism in America and in globalized colonialism more broadly.

We recognize our respective organizations have different strengths, backgrounds, and relationships from which to draw in working towards our shared goals. We also recognize that our shared mission has been intentionally under-resourced by the mainstream business development landscape and that this presents additional challenges for us in attempting to better align and coordinate our work.
